Prepare before installation
Use a stable internet connection, update the phone if an operating-system update is required and confirm that the device is unlocked. Keep the plan instructions available on another screen when your device requires scanning a QR code.
On iPhone
Open Settings, choose Cellular or Mobile Data, then choose Add eSIM. Follow the on-screen route offered for your device and plan. Name the new line clearly, choose it for mobile data when appropriate and review whether data roaming must be enabled for that travel plan.
On Android
Open the network or SIM section in Settings and look for Add eSIM, Download a SIM or Add mobile plan. Manufacturer labels vary. Follow the guided flow, name the line and select it for data when you are ready to connect.
Avoid deleting the profile too early
An eSIM profile may not be reusable after deletion. If the connection is not working, first check line selection, data roaming, airplane mode and the plan's activation rules. Contact support before removing an installed profile unless the instructions specifically require it.
